Densitometry, Diagnosis, and Management course

On 3-4 october,2017 took place a joint course of the International Osteoporosis Foundation and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry in Markarian Hospital in Yerevan, Armenia. National IOF Societies from Erevan organized the course with topic: "Osteoporosis Essentials: Densitometry, Diagnosis, and Management".

This course It provides up-to-date training in the technical and clinical aspects of bone densitometry and osteoporosis. For the physicians in Armenia and for other countries who are regularly conducting or supervising bone densitometry, it is important this course. On the meeting was participate representants from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Czech Republic, and Armenia.The Director of the course was: John P. Bilezikian, MD, PhD (hon). There were two dento-alveolar surgeons from Moldova: Chiril Voloc and Evelina Corcimari, who wanted to improve the level of knowledge in this field and to distribute the information among doctors in Moldova. It was a great experience and it will help to improve the methods of diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment in our country.
